For many years, I have felt a close affiliation with people who feel that they do not fit anywhere, or who do not "belong." This may be because of personal identity or circumstance. It may be those on the edges of society; those who are labelled or marginalised for whatever reason. Equally, it may be those who feel out of touch with traditional religious structures and yet feel, at times of difficulty, that they need to be in touch with their possibly Christian roots or some sort of spiritual instinct.
The whole purpose of this website is to be alongside those who feel hurt by loneliness, those who live in the shadows ... To serve by offering supportive counselling and simple prayer. I would be delighted if you contacted me, whether in times of disaster, sadness, celebration, or the simply struggle of daily routine.
I live in London, but am always happy to be contacted by email.
Educated at Strode's Foundational School in Surrey, I then began training in hospital administration. I later qualified in nursing, specialising in mental health and care for those with learning difficulties. I worked as a senior nurse in Oxford for 10 years. Following that, I developed a charity that I had previously founded (The Archway Foundation) and worked with many charities in the UK, India, and Thailand.
Due to some family problems, I was unable to attend university normally, so studied largely through distance learning. Learning is lifelong. I have mainly studied Psychology and Comparative Religion. I have written on loneliness, and ‘How can Christians approach other religions through comparative or relative theology?’.
I am delighted at links with academic institutions these days, especially being included in the alumni of Harvard, even though I did not study with them (I just love their approach to religion and divinity!).
